14 - The Great Wall at Laolongtou

Passersby would like a photo and so would we.
Jola took a ride in a jiaozi, a wedding carriage. The carriers tipped her back and forth to music.

They were gentler with me. Must be the white hair.

But with Sun Ning, a countrywoman, they had no such reticence. Full tilt boogie.

The Great Wall stretches out into the sea some 2,000 feet at Laolongtou, like the head of a a dragon.

The Great Wall climbs into the Bohai Bay.

Mr. Han and his daughter Xiao.

Bob and Jola.

The Great Wall at Longlaotou, reaching into the Bohai Sea.

Laolongtou is pronounced Laoh-long-tow.

This is the the eastern starting point of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) Great Wall.
